THE LATEST BUZZ ON SUN HOUSE FURY - PART I

"·Actually, I already have the advance copy, so save the postage. No surprise...very good CD. Keep sending articles & info...supplied show prep is a beautiful thing."

"It's too bad that in this age of "style over substance" that artists like Robert struggle for recognition. It makes you wish that we were back in the 70s before the video age when (God forbid !!) only the music mattered. I wonder if bands like The Kinks/Boston/etc. would have standed a chance of a big money deal thses days, because they weren't "pretty"."

"Robert Farrell is truly one of the worlds' greatest undiscovered musical talents. His performance both vocally and instrumentally are virtually unmatched. A major label would do everyone a tremendous favor by adding Robert to their roster and promoting the fire out of him."

"Ottawa is abuzz about the awesome FREE new music concerts on Showcase Mondays. The Postage Stamps, Hot Carl, Lederhosen Lucil, Geoff Berner, · Touchtone Gurus, Round 2, Run Chico Run, Wil, Crowned King, Robert Farrell, Anjulie, Brighton and The Barmitzvah Brothers were just some of the great new music finds of the year. Watch for them to become National and International phenomenons."

"So, how did you become so cool?"
     (anonymous fan)

"You know, I've just downloaded five Robert's songs and will play it on my next show on Sunday evening. Got me right where I'm most weakest - I love this king of Blues/Rock ("Wreckin' Ball" killing me !!!) Great guitar and an special vocal that is just RIGHT !!!! Picture will be on the wall of my little Blues Club in my hometown !!! Will be proud on that !!!!! Once again, thank you from bottom of my little Croatian heart !!"
     (DJ Kruno. Croatia)

"Robert is headed for the Big Time. All he has to do is stay on course and get the promotions he needs. I classify him in the same category as Stevie Ray, Eric Clapton, etc. They don't come any better. Just stay the course: it's his destiny."

"...Lots of soloing and a blistering instrumental called Wild Hands suggest that Farrell is setting the stage to become Canada’s newest guitar hero."
     (Lynn Saxberg. Ottawa Citizen)

"Arguably the greatest undiscovered guitarist in Canada, Ottawa-based Farrell has recorded...the astonishingly tasteful "When the Banks of the Mississippi Run Dry."
     (Billboard Magazine. Toronto)

"Thanks for the Robert Farrell CD - When the Banks of The Mississippi Run Dry...Very Impressive!"
     (Norm Casler. CFOX. Vancouver)

"Young Ottawa guitarist comes on like a smoother, more commercial guitar screamer than most of the teen competitors. Rock stations could work with this five-track EP..."
     (The Record. Toronto)

"Farrell is a guitarist blessed with some fine licks, as he demonstrates on this (Banks), his sophomore album."
     (The Xpress. Ottawa)

Farrell’s latest CD (Banks)...is a fine representation of the guitarist who can boogie like ZZ Top or twang like Link Wray when the situation calls for it..."
     (Allan Wigney. The Xpress. Ottawa)

"It’s tough being what the entertainment media likes to call a "best-kept secret". But as uber-talented guitarist Robert Farrell - who’s been one of this city’s underappreciated musical gems for a few years now - has discovered, it can be equally nerve-wracking when the secret leaks out..."
     (Ben Rayner. Ottawa Sun)
